I want someone to give me an honest answer as to WHY I should trust the federal government to administer healthcare as has been proposed by some. There is very little that the government does that is done efficiently or within budget (what is a budget to government anyway). We currently have a government run healthcare system. Have any of you gone and looked at the VA hospitals around the nation? I can tell you that I visited the one in Charleston, and I'd not want to have to be treated there. It is old, run-down, and the equipment appears to be hand-me-downs from the private sector.
