Unfortunately, the majority of Americans don't know about oil speculation and many other factors affecting the high price of oil. They think that offshore drilling will solve the problem without knowing the facts which pretty clearly show it will do very little if anything. It's things like oil speculation which are the real problem with high oil prices.
