How the GOP Can Rise Again

There's no need to abandon basic Republican principles. Instead, just cool the scorched-earth rhetoric and focus on reclaiming the educated middle class. To recover them, we need to do four things: 1)Develop economic policies that are more relevant to today's middle class, 2) Modulate our social and cultural message, 3) Adopt an environmental ethic of our own, and 4) Regain our historic advantage as the party of competence.
